Performance ritual for video "Eclamus bitus credo uin ubsurdum," (There is a little bit of absurdity in everything) Audrey Halley and Bérangère Maïa Natasha Parizeau, filmed by Reed Rickert, August 2005, Oakland, California.
"Eclamus bitus credo uin ubsurdum" (There's a little bit of absurdity in everything in latin) is a performance art or prayerformance for video, in which the performers intentionally activated the ritual by ingesting a small amount of psychedelic mushrooms. The series of actions were filmed by Reed Rickert. Music composer Guillermo Galindo served as a musical cosmic vessel for the journey into the worlds beyond. The performance ritual was structured around specific actions and the role play of pre-established archetypes. In this experimental performance art for video, the "Urban shaman dress" by Audrey Haller was weaved into the "Painting dress." The rituals' intention was to establish a safe container for the souls' exploration of hyperspace. At the end of the ritual I intentionally attained hyperspace through inhaling DMT vapour. The acronym, Divine Molecular Theatre, took shape in the sigil.
